Bad Citizen: Parts I & II

Bad Citizen, a new collaboration of Northwest Theatre Workshop and Theatre Vertigo, is a festival of eight new, short plays, which explore the challenge of being a citizen in a divided society. The first four plays will be presented online September 18-19, 2020, and the second four plays will be presented online October 9-10, 2020. Each live performance includes a post-show conversation with cast, crew and audience. As a prologue, NWTW offers a provocative, interconnected article series entitled, “Can Democracy Survive Without Theater?” The series examines theater’s role in democracy through personal essay.
