Darius
Pierce is a founding member of the Cardboard Box Theatre Company.
With Vertigo, he has performed Carl in A Devil Inside,
Havel in Prague-Nosis!, Piero/Leo in Big Love,
Dr. Miranda in Death and the Maiden, Herr Swetts
in A Bright Room Called Day, Epilogue in The Flu Season, The Captain in The Love of the Nightingale, and a variety of characters in the defunkt+Vertigo Like I Say. With other companies,
he’s performed in Mister Murdery, Veronica’s Room, Faust.Us., Lorca in a Green Dress, Disappeared,
and Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me. In between he has
directed, production managed, board op-ed, box office managed
and all the while, avoided asparagus.
