Garland

Lyons has been performing since he was 14 years old, when he appeared

in his first play, The Imaginary Invalid. Since then, he has

lived and performed up and down the West Coast including stops in Seattle,

Los Angeles and now Portland, where he has been involved in the theatre

community since 2001. Recent roles include Buddy Tally in Talley and

Son at Profile Theatre Project and Captain Jaggery in True Confessions

of Charlotte Doyle at NW Children’s Theatre. Other local credits

include Orsino in Twelfth Night, Mr Seymour in Hor D’Oeuvres

for Stark Raving Theatre, and Avery in Treatment. He is also

a mentor in Artist Repertory Theatre’s Actors-To-Go program. Favorite

roles include Lyle Vial in In Perpetuity Throught the Universe,

Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Leo Davis in Room

Service. He has appeared in a number of independent films and the

pilot for the short-lived NBC sitcom Emeril. Garland graduated

from the University of Washington with a BA in Drama and Psychology.
