Gary Norman is entering his sixth season as a member of Theatre Vertigo, where he has appeared in The Flu Season, Valparaiso, Romance, A Doll’s House, Freakshow, and the Drammy award winning The Long Christmas Ride Home to name a few. Around town he has worked for Broadway Rose Theatre Company, Lakewood Theater, defunkt theatre, Stark Raving Theatre, Oregon Children’s Theatre, and Portland Center Stage’s Just Add Water Festival, among others.
He was seen in last year’s runaway hit The Receptionist with CoHo Productions and will reunite with actor Chris Murray (The Receptionist), and director Kristen Seemel (The Long Christmas Ride Home, Mimesophobia, The Vespiary) this winter for Hamlet. Originally from Virginia, Gary has called Portland home for 13 years, and is “overjoyed to be the hell out of the South.”
