A woman, beaten brutally by her husband, recovers at her cold and distant parents’ house, accompanied by her brother who wants revenge. Her husband, convinced he has killed her, remains with his over-protective mother. Yet they remain obsessed by one another, as their family stories are eventually, gradually, explored.
